A Loud House Christmas follows Lincoln Loud (Schaeffer) as he gears up for the ultimate Christmas, until he finds out that most of his sisters have plans to be elsewhere for the big day. Determined to remind his family that they all need to be together, Lincoln and his best friend Clyde McBride (Bruno) embark on a mission to preserve the family’s holiday traditions. Nickelodeon has set the live-action cast for A Loud House Christmas, its original live-action holiday TV movie based on the Emmy-winning animated series, The Loud House. After heading back in, Lynn Sr. calls for his family that breakfast is ready, and as everyone starts eating, Rita gets a video call from Lori. Answering the call, Lori tells her family that this year, she's skipping out on coming over to visit, as she feels it's too much of a hassle to go visit and come back when she has many things to do at college.

Rita Loud

The Loud House debuted on Nickelodeon in May 2016 and centers on 11-year-old Lincoln Loud and his 10 sisters as he gives an inside look at what it takes to survive the chaos of a huge family. One of the longest-running animated series on Nickelodeon with 156 episodes, the property has also been translated into a comic book series, which continues to roll out new stories; chapter books; a digital album; and a podcast, Listen Out Loud. With Luan taken care of, Lincoln and Clyde get to work on their video with the sharkodile. After filming the scenes they need, Clyde, after altering the footage to make the scenes look more convincing, sends the footage to Katherine Mulligan and broadcasts it on the news, to which the Louds watch. After Lincoln excuses himself to get dressed, he calls up Clyde to tell him that the plan succeeded.

A Loud House Christmas is a 2021 American live-action Christmas comedy adventure family television film based on the Nickelodeon animated series, The Loud House. The first live-action work and second film in the overall franchise after The Loud House Movie, it aired on Nickelodeon on November 26, 2021, and started streaming on Paramount+ the same day.[1][2] The film also serves as the backdoor pilot of the sequel series, The Really Loud House. Lincoln's parents and sisters then surprise him by revealing that they fixed up the giant toboggan (now christened with the name "Sledzilla") and, thanks to some cloud-seeding, Lisa manages to make it snow above their house. Because of this, the Louds proceed to run outside and have a snowball fight, and after finishing their fight, proceed to take Sledzilla to Tall Timbers Park and sled down the hill. Lincoln Loud gears up for the ultimate Christmas, until he finds out that most of his sisters have plans to be elsewhere for the big day.

At Fairway University, Lori receives the delivery, and opens it up to see her father's figgy pudding, where it reminds her too much of home and realizes she's making a mistake by not being with them for the holidays. Calling up Bobby, Lori asks him to drop her off in Royal Woods, but Bobby says that the mercado van isn't working, but realize that he can still drop her off with the mercado's moped. Lincoln and his best friend Clyde make a plan on how to get the family together for Christmas. They make Lori homesick, fool Luna into thinking that Mick wants to jam with her, build a Sharkodile out of Clyde's family's film props, and disguise themselves as elderly people at the Sunset Canyon Retirement Home to pull off pranks enough for Pop-Pop to cancel Luan's gig. Later on, while getting ready for the tree-lighting ceremony, Lincoln finds that he only made things worse for the family, having accidentally sprayed Lisa's custom-built Sharkodile repellent on Lynn Sr. causing him to not see straight, lose balance, and have unintelligible speech. The Loud House's portrayal of interracial gay married couple Howard and Harold McBride led the series to be nominated for Outstanding Individual Episode at the 28th GLAAD Media Awards and for Outstanding Kids & Family Programming at the 29th, 31st, 32nd and 35th GLAAD Media Awards.

It is set in a fictional town in southeastern Michigan called Royal Woods, based on Savino's hometown of Royal Oak. The series was pitched to the network in 2013 as a two-minute short film entered in the annual Animated Shorts Program. It entered production the following year.[3] The series is based on Savino's own childhood growing up in a large family, and its animation is largely influenced by newspaper comic strips. The Loud House has spawned a multimedia franchise, including several video game, graphic novel, and book series adaptations, the spin-off animated series The Casagrandes, which aired from October 2019 to September 2022, an animated feature film which was released on Netflix in August 2021, a live-action television film pilot that premiered in November 2021, and live-action series, The Really Loud House, that premiered in November 2022. At Clyde's house, Lincoln gets a phone call from Lori telling him that she'll be coming home. After hanging up, Lincoln explains that all that's left to do in their plan is to stop Luan from doing her comedy fest, and try to convince the Louds not to go to Miami. Using props in the McBrides' theater workshop, Lincoln and Clyde need on making a creature so scary, that his family will be convinced that it's not safe to be on land or sea. Using the head of a shark and the back half of a crocodile, they settle on the creature being a "sharkodile", while being powered by the McBrides' tandem bicycle. When it comes to a victim needing to be "attacked", they settle on a mannequin Leni likes to converse with at Reininger's called Tanya.

However, Rip Hardcore sees the "sharkodile" lurching through the woods and gives chase after "it". Lincoln and Clyde try to take a shortcut through Franklin Avenue, inadvertently snagging and taking down the decorations from Lincoln's house. When the sisters see the "sharkodile" passing through their yard, Lisa also runs out after it, wanting to capture the creature and study it for science. The other Loud sisters, realizing Lisa could be in danger if she tries this, rush out after her, accompanied by their father just as he's regaining consciousness. On Christmas Eve, the Louds watch the local news and see Katherine Mulligan reporting about the sharkodile attack in Miami, showing the "footage" that Lincoln and Clyde sent her.

Right after Rita leaves, the family sees Katherine Mulligan reporting on the news that the sharkodile is now in Royal Woods, according to video footage captured by Scoots when Lincoln and Clyde tried to hide it in the woods earlier in the day. Katherine says that with the sharkodile lurking about, all of Royal Woods is being placed under a curfew, and the tree-lighting ceremony is cancelled. Seeing Lily heartbroken that she won't get to light the tree proves to be the final crushing blow for Lincoln, and he calls Katherine to tell her that the sharkodile was just a hoax he created. Lincoln is at first pleased that his plan has worked, but after he has dressed himself up for the tree-lighting ceremony, he soon sees that his sisters are all miserable as a result of his actions. Leni is in creative distress without Tanya, and even worse, she's been fired from her job (again); Luna is heartbroken because Sam broke up with her due to her taking the chance to see Mick Swagger; Luan is upset that their Pop-Pop fired her for seemingly no reason and is considering giving up comedy (again); and Lynn Jr., Lola, and Lana are all sad about not getting to do the activities they were looking forward to doing in Miami. Likewise, Lynn Sr. and Rita are also sad about having to cancel the trip, saying they may not get another chance for a vacation like this until they've retired.

Kenya's film and classification board (KFCB) has called for the suspension of several US-produced children's programs running on channels provided by TV company MultiChoice. The board said the cartoons featured "disturbing content glorifying homosexual behavior" which was not suitable for children. Lincoln goes into the woods, and along with Clyde, takes their sharkodile prop (which is controlled by Clyde's dads' tandem bike) to show it to Katherine at the mall.

They are usually anthology comics, however, others are arranged on certain themes, while others have overarching storylines. The first graphic novel, There Will Be Chaos, was released on May 9, 2017.[93] There are currently two series, a running series and a special series focusing on the seasons and certain holidays. The series debuted on Nickelodeon on May 2, 2016, with new episodes premiering every weekday that month.[21] The first trailer for the series premiered on March 13, 2016.[22] The series also aired on AFN Family.

With help from Lisa's successful experiment, Lincoln, his sisters, his parents, and Clyde have a snowball fight. A spin-off, entitled The Casagrandes, was put into development by Nickelodeon in March 2018. The film spun off a live-action series, titled The Really Loud House and utilizing much of the same cast, which was announced for Paramount+ on March 24, 2022 and premiered on Nickelodeon in November 2022. Nick has also extended the first season of All That by 10 episodes, bringing its total to 36, and renewed The Casagrandes (season two), Blues Clues and You (season three), Paw Patrol (season eight), Blaze and the Monster Machines (season six), Bubble Guppies (season six), holiday competition Top Elf (season two) and anthology Are You Afraid of the Dark? It’s also set a Feb. 29 premiere date for Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, starring the 10-year-old rapper. The graphic novels are by either crew members or other incoming artists, and dive into the world of the show and the characters within.

After getting Tanya from Leni, Lincoln and Clyde first have to stop Luan from performing at Sunset Canyon. They disguise themselves as elderly people and proceed to secretly pull pranks on the elders like Pop-Pop sitting on a whoopee cushion, a squirt flower spraying water onto Gayle, and having the pudding machine malfunction on Scoots, all while they tell them that those pranks were set up by Luan. Angered over getting pranked, the elders suggest firing Luan from performing, but Pop-Pop argues back that she wouldn't stoop to that low, since he's her grandfather, but after getting a pie to the face (courtesy of Lincoln), Pop-Pop immediately changes his mind and says that Luan must be fired from performing. Back at the Loud House, Lisa announces that she's created a sharkodile repellent for them to use. Lincoln questions if it's safe to use, at which point he accidentally sprays it in Lynn Sr.'s face, causing the family patriarch to act loopy for the next hour or so.

After introducing wilderness survival expert Rip Hardcore, Katherine warns her viewers not to go to Miami, much to the dismay of Lincoln's sisters. Lynn Sr. and Rita try to put a positive spin on this, since they can at least still go to see the big tree lighting at the Royal Woods Mall, which Lily has been picked to do. When Lincoln Loud realizes his family may be apart for Christmas, he and his best friend, Clyde, go to great lengths to ensure the Louds celebrate the holiday together. Going into the woods, Lincoln and Clyde come across their sharkodile prop and intend to show it to Katherine at the mall. However, Rip Hardcore, hiding nearby, sees the "sharkodile" lurching through the woods and proceeds to chase after it, much to the two boys' horror. Lincoln and Clyde try to take a shortcut through Franklin Avenue, inadvertently snagging and taking down the decorations from the Loud House.

With the family in the living room, Rita and Lynn Sr. tell their kids that with Lori, Luna and Luan out of the picture for the holiday, they make a change in plans. After some thinking, Rita and Lynn Sr. suggest that they take a trip to Miami, Florida, to which the sisters agree with. Lincoln once again protests this decision, saying that they have traditions to fulfill this year, and tries to support his claim that Lily gets to light up the tree.

Lincoln Loud is the only boy and the middle child in a family of eleven children residing in the fictional town of Royal Woods, Michigan. He has ten sisters with distinctive personalities consisting of bossy eldest child Lori, ditzy fashionista Leni, musician Luna, comedian Luan, athletic Lynn Jr., gloomy poetic goth Lucy, polar opposite twins Lana and Lola, child genius Lisa, and baby Lily. Lincoln occasionally breaks the fourth wall to explain to the viewers the chaotic conditions and sibling relationships of the household, and continually devises plans to make his life in the Loud House better. Among the cast, Brian Stepanek (Lynn Sr.), Catherine Taber (Katherine Mulligan), and Jeff Bennett (Mick Swagger) reprised their respective roles from the animated series, with Bennett only reprising his role through audio recordings. Jahzir Bruno would also become Clyde's official voice in the cartoon (replacing Andre Robinson) starting in its sixth season, which began airing the following year.

He has been sentenced to 300 hours of community service due to the property damage he caused; but on the upside, Luna and Sam have gotten back together and are going to go on their ski trip after all, Leni has been rehired at Reininger's and gotten her creative spark back, Luan has reconciled with Pop-Pop and has been re-booked for her Sunset Canyon gig, and the family's going to go to Miami after all. Lincoln's parents and sisters then surprise him by revealing that they fixed up the giant toboggan, and thanks to some cloud-seeding, Lisa manages to make it snow above their house. The movie ends on the Louds and Clyde riding the big toboggan down the hill at Tall Timbers Park.
